1. Who we are and scope
Rm Auto Detailing provides mobile auto-detailing services in Orange County, California. This notice applies to information handled through this website, including the embedded quote form, optional website analytics, and messages you send to us using the contact details shown on the site.
Other websites and services linked from this site, including social networks, operate under their own privacy notices.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you request a quote or contact us, you may provide:
- your first and last name;
- email address and phone number;
- address or service location;
- vehicle model and the interior or exterior services that interest you; and
- the content of emails, text messages, calls, or other information you choose to share.
Information collected only after analytics consent
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may receive information about visits and interactions, such as pages viewed, session and referral information, approximate location, and browser, device, and operating-system details. We do not intentionally ask you to place sensitive personal information in the quote form.
Your cookie preference
This site stores the value accepted or rejected under rm-auto-cookie-consent-v1 in your browser's localStorage. It is used only to remember your analytics choice on that browser. The preference itself is not an analytics cookie and is not transmitted to our server by the consent tool.
3. How and why we use information
We use information as reasonably necessary to:
- respond to quote requests and questions;
- recommend, schedule, and provide requested detailing services;
- communicate with you through the contact method you provide;
- maintain service and business records, resolve disputes, and protect the website and our business;
- meet applicable accounting, legal, or regulatory obligations; and
- understand and improve website performance when you have consented to analytics.
This website's consent tool keeps advertising storage, ad-user-data, and ad-personalization signals denied. Accepting analytics does not use that tool to authorize personalized advertising.
4. Quote form and CRM
The free-quote form is embedded from GoHighLevel and uses services provided by HighLevel Inc. and LeadConnector LLC. When you submit the form, the information you enter is sent directly to our account in that customer relationship management platform so we can review and respond to your request. HighLevel and LeadConnector process that information as technology providers supporting our use of the platform.
Loading or submitting the form requires your browser to connect to LeadConnector/HighLevel domains. The provider may use technical storage or similar mechanisms that are necessary to deliver, secure, or prevent abuse of the form; those functions are separate from the optional Google Analytics described below. You can avoid the online form and contact us directly by text message, phone, or email.
You can read about the provider's general practices in the HighLevel Privacy Policy.
5. Analytics, cookies, and similar storage
This site is configured for Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-6YYKG0S2N1. Analytics storage is denied by default, and the Google Analytics script is not requested from Google unless you select Accept analytics. If accepted, we use analytics to measure general traffic and website interactions, evaluate which pages are useful, and improve site performance. The implementation requests IP anonymization; Google states that Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.
| Name | Provider and purpose | When used | Typical retention |
|---|---|---|---|
rm-auto-cookie-consent-v1 | Rm Auto Detailing; remembers whether analytics was accepted or rejected. | After you make a choice | Until you clear site data, change the choice, or we replace the preference key. |
_ga | Google Analytics; distinguishes visitors using a pseudonymous identifier. | Only after analytics consent | Up to 2 years by default; browser limits or deletion may shorten this. |
_ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics; maintains session state for the Analytics property. | Only after analytics consent | Up to 2 years by default; browser limits or deletion may shorten this. |
Cookie expiration and Analytics server-side data retention are different. For a standard GA4 property, Google's user-level and event-level retention setting may be 2 or 14 months, while aggregated reports are not governed by that setting. The exact lifespan can also be affected by Google settings, browser restrictions, renewed activity, and your deletion of browser data. See Google's documentation on GA4 cookies and Analytics data retention.
6. How long we keep information
Quote requests, CRM records, and direct communications are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide requested services, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Because those needs vary, we do not assign one fixed period to every contact record. When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted or anonymized, subject to required records and service-provider backup cycles.
The localStorage preference remains on your device until you change it, clear the site's stored data, or the preference key is replaced. Analytics cookie and event-retention periods are described above.
8. Your cookie choices and withdrawal
On your first visit, choose Accept analytics or Reject optional cookies. After a choice, the Cookie settings button remains at the lower-right corner of the site. Select it at any time to reopen the panel and change your choice. Rejecting or withdrawing consent keeps Analytics storage denied for future activity.
Withdrawing consent does not automatically erase Analytics cookies already stored by your browser. To remove those immediately, delete this site's cookies or site data in your browser. Clearing localStorage also removes the saved preference and causes the consent panel to appear again. You may also use browser privacy controls or Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of, or a copy of personal information about you; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal or complain to an appropriate privacy authority. Some locations also provide rights concerning sale, sharing, or targeted advertising and protection from unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
To make a request, email us using the address below and describe what you need. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority before acting on a request. Available rights, exceptions, and response requirements depend on the law that applies to the request.
10. Security and changes to this notice
We and our providers use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
We may update this notice when website tools or practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised when an updated notice is published.
